Its been two days the first day i had Absolutely no exit from my apt. I’m on the second floor neighbor down stairs has a back door i have only one exit called my landlord he barked at me told me they are doing construction i said ok i have no problem with that but i have no exit and 2 small children that is a hazard so he called the contractors told them they didn’t do a thing next day same problem i was furious i called landlord again at this point am upset and tell him i will call fire dept if they don’t give me an exit! so he is all pissed saying you have to understand they are doing construction and i have to suck it up…mind you i wasn’t even informed when this was going to happen… i would have left for a week, if he told me in advance… so he finally gets them to let me out of my apt … so now they are coming back on Monday and my other concern is there is so much dust on my windows my air feels so dry in the apt I’m afraid of lead paint from all the dust coming from the roof also i have 3 huge holes with debris falling from them in children bedroom due to the construction on the roof so stressed any advice please?
